Help
Open Instruments → Settings and use the Help index, or tap ? on an instrument and ⋯ on the map. You’ll find what StellarVana is, Free vs Premium, hold-up (not camera AR), eclipse honesty, and Restore purchases.
Restore purchases
Restore purchases reactivates Premium on this device for this Apple ID. Use it after a reinstall or on a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple ID. Path: Instruments → Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases (also on the paywall). There is no iCloud restore in this version — pins and logs stay local.

What is StellarVana?
An educational astronomy star map and celestial reference: identify what’s overhead, plan tonight, and track eclipses with honest visibility. Education and Reference — not a horoscope, not camera AR.
What is included on Free?
Live map to magnitude 5, all 88 IAU names, hold-up, night vision, M31 / M42 / M45, ISS next-pass teaser, geocentric eclipse candidates, meteor / conjunction cards, and pins. Premium adds Tonight Observe, deeper catalog, Messier 110, ISS overlay, local eclipse path, and related Observe tools.
Is hold-up camera AR?
No. Hold-up uses the compass and gyroscope so the drawn star map follows how you point the phone. There is no camera viewfinder and no AR overlay in this version.
Will the app tell me I can see an eclipse?
Free Eclipse Center shows geocentric candidates — not local visibility. Premium local path labels a miss honestly. It does not upgrade a miss into “you will see it.”
Where do my pins live?
Pins and the Premium light log stay on this iPhone. There is no StellarVana account and no iCloud sync in this version. Uninstalling removes local data.
